Glitter refuses to leave Bangkok
Disgraced glam-rocker Gary Glitter continues to sink even further with the news that he is refusing to leave Thailand.
Glitter was recently released early from a Vietnamese prison, where he had been sentenced to three years for molesting two underage girls. After being forced from the southeast Asian country and flown to Bangkok, he discovered he could not remain in Thailand either.
He has since remained ‘in limbo’ in a Bangkok establishment called Louis tavern, where Thai police are shadowing him until his exit. Yesterday he collapsed in his room at the tavern to avoid flying back to the UK, Thai police insisted.
Fearful 64 year-old Glitter - real name Paul Gadd - is thought to be faking tinnitus and heart problems so that he will not be allowed to fly.
