Britney Mimes (Again) on X Factor - And Fails To Perform London Club Date Afterwards

In what has been called a minor derailment of Britney Spears’ comeback, the London leg of her European promo tour was criticised after a mimed X Factor appearance.

Things went from bad to worse after the singer arrived at London’s G.A.Y. nightclub later that night, but failed to perform over crowd safety issues.

Eyewitness reports indicated that people were being crushed in their excitement to see Britney, and that she consequently failed to take the stage even though it had been prepared for her.

Instead, Britney cut a birthday cake in a separate VIP room and waved at fans from a balcony before disappearing into the night and hopping on a plane back to the states. She is due to perform on Good Morning America tomorrow morning.
